Chronic

You wait patiently for me to smile
you had no idea what you were
 
getting into years ago when you said
i do and if i'd known would i have tried
 
to change your mind i don't think so
because i'm trying to follow the doctors'
 
orders and look there's one now
working at the corners of my mouth
 
just for you.
